Go Green Closings

Martinelli Caputi has been “greening” its office in many ways. Real estate closing transactions involve up to hundreds of sheets of paper per closing. Therefore, our first goal is to use as little paper as possible by using a scanner and e-fax as often as possible. We go paperless by putting all closing packages on CD's, instead of handing out actual paper copies of closing packages to clients. This green change alone saves countless sheets of paper, thereby conserving tons of trees! If use of paper is necessary, we will be using chlorine-free paper with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled content. We always recycle paper and are a proud user of CleanScape, a local recycling company. Also, we purchase recycled, environmentally-friendly, and sustainable business products, including printer and fax toners and other office supplies.
